Except for the amortization of the cost of machine development (i bet some of the automated glue applicators could be reprogrammed to put down ringsets, and tweaking things to handle paint instead of glue.

BTW: i have a drawer full of new paint in a variety of colours i will never use. I am happy to ship some of that excess anywhere for cost of postage (likely max $13 USD (unless you are in Canada). Value of 3-4 bottles would exceed the postage. 3 bottles probably does tens or more drivers.
Can I Dave?
... which is where?in the specific case of the Markaudio cones there is a ringset at the junction between the curves Mark used to shape the cone
Using the templates... do you cut the paper just short of where you want the line of paint to go -- maybe 1mm or so so that the paint doesn't get sucked under the paper. then cut it again for the companion ring?
then repeat for the next set of rings at the next intersection of curves for the cone?
Do you use the A style nibs to "stamp" the dashes like the lay a trail of footprints in the comics?
... which is where?
You are going to have to wait till i get my templates out and measure them.
Here are some pictures i dug out of templates and how they are used.

Orange recommended for Cooper cones, Grey for Silver. You ideally want some colour contrast when laying them down.
You can get some idea of how various colours work here: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/its-not-easy-being-green-just-pictures.213294/

Hi Dave,
I've sent you an email for the above.
I've seen the procedure for standard paper cones, but what is the procedure for Mark Audio speakers, with metal surfaces?
Thanks

First of all I want to thank you Dave for having sent me the paints! I've just received them!
They look really nice and I really like to test them.
Will this be fine? Nibs set on Temu
Thank you!
I've bought this item usually used to decorate cakes: Rotating Cake Decorator on Temu that seems useful to EnABL speakers.

0,5 mm that is exactly A6
1,1 mm that is very close to A5
1,5 mm that is exactly A4
1,9 mm that is very close to A3
2,5 mm that is exactly A2
2,9 mm that is very close to A1.
The link I posted before is referred to pens with ink cartridge inside the pen, not the right ones.I never needed an A6, you will also need a #56 for the small spots.

Can I ask you a link to similar brushes to have a guideline?Paint brushes should have artificial bristles
Thank you!
