Hi together,
I am looking for the member who created the Iron Pre case or front panel for the Modushop.
It is about adding an additional cutout for a display.
I have received the dxf file from Modushop, but I need the fpd version to be able to work with it.
It would be nice if the person would contact me by PM. Or someone gives me a hint to the member. Thank you

Hi @frankwilker and @Peppe and anyone else that loves the design of the chassis.
Great questions.
.fpd files will not be made available to anyone.
Why?
1) They don't exist. FPE / FPD was not used to create the design.
2) The design is not public or intended for modification / replication. If you love the design, you need to get it from Modushop in the form of the two approved chassis designs they are offering.
Cheers,
Patrick

My apologies if I might have missed this. Are there any photos of a balanced build using the Modushop chassis? I saw some balanced builds, but they don't seem to be with that particular chassis. In particular, I'm interested in seeing the interior and how spacing there is with the dual volume control, etc...
Thanks,
Dennis
Thanks,
Dennis
I can post a couple as long as ZM promises not to scold me for my volume control placement.

Here is one. If I were to do it again I would probably move the boards further to the right, but it is silent as it is currently laid out.
If this has been asked and answered already, apologies, but I can't find it.
I've got the balanced kit and would like to be able to use these in either balanced or SE modes. The board instructs us to install DI1-5 only for SE inputs. Should these diodes go in or not, please?
Thank you!

You have to make a decision about which inputs will be balanced and which will be single ended. Install the diodes for the inputs you decide will be single ended.
I'm having a heck of a time locating 10K-25K Alps volume pots. Does anyone have a good source or substitutes?
I ordered the balanced chassis from Modushop. It uses 2 volume controls, so I was hoping to get singles. I guess I could use two doubles.
Thanks for the quick reply.

I assume if you ordered the balanced chassis that you'll be building a balanced Iron Pre - You still need a dual gang pot for each channel for balanced. One for (+) and one for (-) ...
Draft of wiring...

I’ve got two 10k RK27 stereo (dual gang) which are mounted to breakout boards from the store. PM if you want them.
