The Pass Pub: The High-End Off Topic Thread

Last night's sunset over the Palos Verdes Peninsula in advance of TS Hilary was beautiful.
Luckily we didn't receive the amount of rain that was forecast.

It was all a put on.... Hilary was a put on, another man made "emergency"... the weather lady in Channel 9 was pointing it out on Wednesday but I guess she was told to shut up and go with the "narrative"...

and then we got a 5.1

Didn't notice it.

But we did get 1.8 inches of rain over 14 hours. A nice summer day by Norwegian standards, I'd say.

That is hilarious.... it takes an European to appreciate the humor... although I got in trouble with Le Moderati in this site for bringing up some similar European comparative humor.

Regardless.. Hilarious, Bravo.

And, BTW, Manuel, from Fawlty Towers, is NOT from Barcelona. That's an insult to us Catalans.

A few years ago, I spent a whole week working in Australia, My coworkers kept pushing their local wines, which they said were quite good. I just drunk plenty of their superlative beer while this kept going through my head. ;-)

We haven't seen Soundhappy here for a year. 🙁
Also, I would like to know what is with Brianco and C2Thomas.
I'm still here! My right shoulder is now very arthritic and I find typing difficult whilst soldering is impossible, though my heart and lung problems
are not getting worse. Have heard zero re. C2Thomas - I hope that he is OK and just "doing his family tree...
probably back to Adam & Eve by now!😎

I( can no longer contemplate even building a PS for my M25 boards - or anything else for that matter...so watch Swap Meet

Hope that all is well with you Gyuri.

ZM I am delighted to see still suffers fools gladly and - for an Omnipotent One - even descends to their level as occasion demands!🤣

Touche. I guess I ought to wear my reading glasses when I look at the screen.

Still. the glucosamine stands. It got to the point where I could not lift my left shoulder, I was getting sharp pains all day and all night. My doctor wanted to prescribe pills.

Two pills of glucosamine every night and my shoulder moves freely and painlessly now.

Our dog, 16 years old, was getting stiff about 2 years ago. My daughter started to give him glucosamine for doggies and he's back to jumping all over the place.

Despite having spent much time in Italy in the 80s/early 90s and having spent the first 40% of my 81 years in Ireland along with too many years in London
I now live in the Scottish Borders - and no longer go to Ireland/Italy...or anywhere else for that matter.

Anyone got a genuine decent Krell KSA50/100 to get rid of [in the UK]

I gave Bingo the human version. A mixed pill of:
Glucosamine
Chondroitin
MSM
Ran it through a lemon zester then a fine sieve and added the powder to his daily meds for the final two years of his life. And yes, it worked wonders for him going up and down stairs.
Bingo February 2007 - July 2023.
