Burning Amp 2023!

It would be nice to know what the "bit more work" is, exactly. That is, have the specific steps of the process to message Tom or whomever to be able to register. I've tried enrolling at the web site, but the server is down.

This shouldn't be like doing differential equations for orbital mechanics.

Ah, so if we have never attended in the past, then we won’t be able to attend this year‘s Burning amp. It’s like a private club that someone who has never attended cannot join.

This is 100% incorrect.

Not sure if it was stated in jest or not.

Anybody and everybody can attend Burning Amp, and we'd all love to see you there!!

Awesome... so how do I get tickets?
Exactly my question: What is the PROCESS to obtain tickets? As in, ACTIONS we need to take to purchase a ticket? And, WHEN will we able to purchase a ticket?

No, it was not stated in jest. The question came from the answer being ambiguous.

How do you get/pay for the kit?

How do we know that we won't run out of kits?

I mean, meeting you folks is nice, but the main reason for the trip is to build an amp and shake out the rustiness from my fingers. If it weren't for cold soldering, I wouldn't be soldering,...

This is diyAudio... things move at the speed of volunteerism...

Sorry for the confusion guys!

Tickets will be on Eventbrite and at the door (pre-order on Eventbrite if possible - it makes registration much easier)

The Eventbrite link will be here, on the burningampfestival.com website, and an email reminder if you are on the mailing list.

You will have the choice of Saturday Seminar Day in-person, Sunday Main-Event in-person, or 2 day combination.

I am still am waiting to set the price of the Saturday Build Camp Materials Fee.

If an on-site Zoom coordinator is found we will have a Sunday Online option.

T-shirts? They would be nice too!

Real soon now....

Hey DIYAudio Fans!

While I've been remiss in pre-BAF planning due to work circumstances, as it turns out I'll be there and will bring some donations for the raffle...two (yes "2") Planet10 minifonken cab flatpacs (bought years ago from Sr. Dlugos...I've assembled many but these somehow are still in storeroom) along with a couple pairs of Markaudio CHR 70's for which the flatpacs have been milled. Also, drivers and xover for GR x-series MTM for a lucky winner...
Also, Papa is rumored to be cleaning out his store room, so likely some more very nice stuff....

Cheers,
Mario

OK, whatever happens, I plan to be there on Saturday.

I promise I'll leave my Musk Flamethrower Soldering Machine at home... do I need to bring my soldering iron or will parts be available there?

Assuming I don't burn the house down, it will be fun to get back into building stuff. If I can figure out Medicare (oof!!) I might retire and start building stuff.

Thanks ( and thanks for moving it to Petaluma ).
