Hi, have a music angle with 4 KT88 tubes. But when i turned it on an evening, one tube flashed and i turned it off.I opened the amp but realised quickly that this is a complete new world for me, this is my first tube amp.but i did not see any burned parts. so my question is, do i rip all the internal out and buid a complete new amp or is it worth trying to find the fault that destroyed my tube? i have understand that there is many versions of the music angel. i have not found any pics on google thas looks like mine. And i also want to remove the preamp section on the amp. i want is as a clean power amp. But can i turn the amp on without the tubes and meassure the different voltages on the channels? to see the different voltages, if thats was the issue that killed my tube, if it is killed. i dont know tubes that well. can a tube survive something like the problem i describe? can i meassure the tubes with a multimeter to check if its ok?
How old are the KT88 tubes? They do have a finite life.

There should be a type number on it, for example: YC-808 MK.
Also pictures will help to get things started.

First, as was suggested above, get the exact model number of the amplifier you have, and post it.
Next, post a complete and accurate schematic of the amplifier.
With the model number, you might be able find a schematic on the web.
Otherwise, you will need to trace out the complete and accurate amplifier schematic, and post it;
Or take the amp to a very knowledgeable repair person.
Blindfolded Archers hardly ever hit the target.
The same goes for vacuum tube experts without either a schematic, or the amplifier on their bench.

I know electronics, i have build many amplifiers, but not tubes.
its just one way learning. iI have to start somewhere.
thats why i wounder if i better of building a better amp than the Music Angel is.
Please post a pic of the amp from the front, so we can see the tube layout etc.

I took the tubes that were working and put them in the left channel, they played nicely there. moved over to the right channel. they also played well there 😅 I just need new tubes 🤣
Or cut air gaps into the output transformers, and rewire the amp for single ended with the working tubes you have...🤣

do not confuse, there are two distinct models and several variants of each model, a photo above / below would help.
