Just use the M2OPS.

1) Can 2SK2145BL be used for the Input JFETs?
2) A more intriguing question I have is about "Detail Retrieval". I tried one such gain stage from Juma's collection. It has more detail retrieval when connected to my Topping E50 DAC RCA outputs compared to any other of many preamps I have tried. So the question is what causes the difference in detail retrieval from one gain to another?
3) How would this DIY Front End 2022 perform in detail retrieval? Perhaps, Nelson can comment. Thanks.

Do 2 x 2 x 2sk170 in parallel (2 on either side) on the differential input at front end.
Haven't personally played with 2sk145BL but I am confident the combination above should easily beat it.

What omissions / additions might be warranted to use this in the front end of a SIT-3 style amp? I'm thinking 4X gain and best possible performance driving an autoformer. I'm still really liking the autoformer VAS these days. The OPA828 / LME49600 FE in my sig is fantastic. But still willing to try a discrete vs.... shootout for fun. I checked last night and it looks like I have enough matched K170's in my stash to get this FE together.
