On the left we have Sweet Spot Gummi Worms
On the right we have Distinct High Performance Speaker Cables
The gummi worms weigh in at 400 grams and contain corn syrup, beef gelatin and citric acid, with 16 calories per worm.
Th cables are 14 gauge, 4 meters in length and have gold plated connectors. Spades on one end, banana on the other.
Which one wins? That depends on your criteria.
The gummi worms come it at $4.99 CAD
The cables are $3.49 CAD
Since they actually work, I'm heading back to the store and not for more worms.

I could assemble loudspeaker cables more easily than I could cook up "Gummi Worms", but not for $3.49 CAD!
If you speak German gummi worms sounds more like an artificial fishing bait.
(Gummi = rubber)

Who cares about DCR, inductance, flavour or sugar content? 😱
Nobody uses them for their intended purpose, only to post inflammatory "no proof or tests involved" posts in Forum threads, just to stir the pond 😉
So this one is as good (of bad) as any other.
As of "battle?" .... guaranteed!!!!
This is a "cable" thread!!!!

Bill, I cannot deny that, but some places around the globe, it is normal.
Charles, yes, the first container I bought was for trout bait. Unfortunately they are so gummi tough, you can’t pierce them with your hook, even using pliers. They really are like rubber.

I am now the owner of 6 of them. 3 pairs that is.
Jeff, they came from a store called McFrugals. Not a dollar store, its a buyout, bankruptcy, fire and insurance store. They have heavy presence in fishing gear. Furniture, clothing and a whole lot more.

Many moons ago when I was on holiday in Canada I went fishing for rainbow trout in a lake.
Some American guy gave me some small marshmallows as bait. Him and me were the only ones who caught anything so those Canadian trout preferred marshmallows to worms, spin baits or flies.

I'd like to order 4 sets of those speaker cables please, you do free postage don't you?

Hey Jeff,
They have a lot of clearance type items including things like Christmas treats known as snowballs. A 4 pack is now 25 cents.
They also have things like storage beds, comfy Chairs and marble two sink vanitit’s. Lighting, household items, you name it.

Is the wire in that cable made of copper or aluminum? I'm wondering how much copper would be in two 4-meter lengths of 14-gauge wire, and if I could make a profit by buying them at $3.49 CAD and selling them for copper recycling. Never mind the gold plating.
I was in Maynard's in Van. once many years ago. Sounds like a similar kind of outlet. They have a lot of clearance type items including things like Christmas treats known as snowballs. A 4 pack is now 25 cents.
