Yes, but I think just a thick flat plate should do it. The mounting side of the devices have no pins. TO-3 devices would be a problem. Then a T-bar could be a solution.
I am pretty sure US/AU customs start raising an eyebrow if the value of the invoice is 1000+ USD/AUD while Canada usually charges duties for any amount but I would still ship them separately if the value is over 1000 CAD

I am all with you here, I would definitely go for 400mm long heatsinks for all our chassis as I am sure it would be very convenient for a lot of people. Main problem is they are a lot more expensive than 2x 200mm and it's quite hard to find them (at least our usual supplier does not sell a lot).
If you can think of any solution which can help you I am happy to assist

in general, having a side comprised of two 200mm deep heatsinks isn't a problem in majority of scenarios, with 2 or more output parts; problem is only when you need to mount just one fat OS part on side

.......but delta-price from 2 to 4 heat sinks is 30 Euros only.......that is not much.......

Yes, and I have to decide "white" or "black" front. I might like black most, but scratches are not that visible on white and can be "repaired" just with sanding.

Regarding the heatsinks unfortunately it's not that easy as it would require us to substain set up costs to have our supplier produce a certain minimum quantity plus the extra cost to make. If we had had the possiblity to make these in a convenient way we would have done it years ago but that's how it is.

OK, but to specify 10 mm think alu plates of like say 150mm x 350mm (four of these) is possible?
They have to fit inside, and I have not looked in detail how much space we have. Maybe it is 120 x 350 or 120 x 300.

With courier shipment, the courier company use their own customs broker to clear the package through Canada Customs unless you tell them that you are using your own customs broker or that you are doing it yourself. I don't know whether duties are applicable but definitely taxes (13% HST in Ontario) will be levied by Canada Customs based on the value of the goods. The courier company will also charge a brokerage fee if they clear customs for you, unless the brokerage cost is included in the courier's shipping price.
Taxes and duties apply to imported goods valued over CAN$20. As I mentioned, taxes will definitely be charged. I have no idea what the rules are for import duties when purchasing from Italy but when I purchased some heatsinks from modu, I did not have to pay any duty.
So in the matter of one or two shipments, if customs brokerage is not included in the courier's shipping price, you would pay their brokerage fee once for one shipment and twice for two shipments.

Thanks for the clear explanation, Ben Mah. Appreciated. I placed my order with Gianluca for two separate shipments but I’m sure that he can change that if one shipment is the better way to go. Modushop use FedEx so don’t know what they do re brokerage.
Another thing to watch out for with couriers is that they separate their fees so that their brokerage fee may not include other fees that they charge for various reasons associated with the collection of taxes.
