Now we have moved, getting used to the new room, it has a suspended floor so I have invested in a pair of Auralex Gramma V2 pads, which work well with my current KEF Reference Three-Two, although there is a limit.
On these, I am weary of putting anything to tall/top heavy, so bought up an alternative idea.
I guess other than horizontal dispersion issues, are there any other specific reasons not to mount the two BM2500.4s side by side, under the Seos 12?
I could not find many commercial speakers other than say the JBL Everest, although they cross over a lot lower.

TAD TM-2
Kinoshita RM4, Warp1/3/7 ( but mirored, in MTM like Auspurger did too)
Horizontal is mostly ok on TM2/ RM4 but vertical is narrow on the one i've heard.
In wall RM4 i worked with had very limited listening position 'head in a vise'.
It can easily be simulated though. Vituix cad is your friend.

I'm less worried about vertical dispersion as all the seats are at the same height, and any critical listening is in one spot.
I've just been having a play with VituxCad, interesting. Seems running two 10" side by side, you start to get cancellation/phase issues above around 700Hz when trying to keep dispersion around 30-degrees. I think that might be a non starter, unless I get a larger horn to cross over the tweeter lower, or go 3-way.TAD TM-2

If I did go 3-way, I do have a pair of Scanspeak 10F/8414 which would be suitable then maybe a small tweeter on top. Options, options!
I will prefer this configuration too...Mine is crossed at 700 hz with Scan speak 12MU on top..If I did go 3-way, I do have a pair of Scanspeak 10F/8414 which would be suitable then maybe a small tweeter on top. Options, options!
And a simple tweeter isn't enough - you need something very high end to match the exceptional Volts...) Something like a Raal 70-10 I think...as you say - so many options..)

Well leaning towards this as I have picked up a pair of lightly used D2004/6020 tweeters, should be a great match with the 10F/8414, and small enough if I wanted to go MTM for a bit more output.I will prefer this configuration too...Mine is crossed at 700 hz with Scan speak 12MU on top..
I now have a pair of Hypex FA123 so going with your above idea:
Tweeter - Scanspeak Illuminator D2004/602000
Midrange - Scanspeak Discovery 10F/8414
Bass - 2x Volt BM2500.4 16-Ohms
I’m thinking of crossover points around 400Hz & 4kHz to start with, the 10F is quite flexible with that and the small frame on both Mid and Tweeter means I can cross over a little higher if required.
I’m thinking of the Mid/Tweeter in a small pod (similar to KEF 105/107 etc) and the two Volt Bass in a ~40 Litre ported cabinet below.
It won’t be the highest output as the FA123 has 75w/8Ohms (125w/4Ohms) but should get ~92dB/2.83V on the bass section after BSC, but more limited on the Mid/Tweeter as they are lower sensitivity.
I still have the Seos 12 and Sica 1" HFU Horn/CD unit so if I need a higher output, I just need to find a midrange with a higher sensitivity (PHL 1220/Audax PR170 for example) to go with say a BMS 4524 or similar, if I don’t need the low crossover point.
Now I’m actually home for more than a day or so since moving house (August has been very busy for us) I can crack on with the refurb on the rest of the Volt Bass drivers.

Made a start on the Mid/Tweeter enclosure. I've designed this as a ported 2-way for now, so I can use it to experiment with the FA123, and also in the future if I change for a higher efficiency design, I can use these in another room.
I've also changed the bass section, for the Scanspeak 26W/4534 I bought a year or so back, for an all Scanspeak design! The Volts will be used for a higher efficiency project.

Had a little issue with the router, I believe a combination of not using a fast enough speed and old/cheap router bit (Roundover and Chamfer).

So for now, have just gone for a roundover all over rather than roundover on the sides and chamfer on top/bottom as per the original plan.

In my opinion, it would be even better to also mount the high frequency in a separate volume that can be moved back and forth for maximum phase equalization...If you don't use something with phase correction of course...)
I'll see, maybe in the mk2 version!

Really basic filters so far, 2nd order at 3000Hz, 3dB Bafflestep and then a 2nd order at 85Hz to keep some of the sub bass out. Promising so far, will try and get some measurements to see what’s happening at the weekend! Old Frugelhorn cabinets being used as stands.
Having the RCA switch I made a few years ago is handy as I have put it between the B60 Pre/Power sections, meaning I can use it as a preamp and then switch between the Hypex/Scanspeak and B60 Power/KEF for a quick comparison, which is nice.
For a longer term plan for these little boxes, once I get the Volt drivers up and running, I found this great little all-in-one board. 4-Channel DSP, 4x 30wpc and Bluetooth aptX HD. These would be perfect for our Hobby/Dining room setup, mainly for the Wife to stream to when sewing.

The big Volt driver project, still researching between lots of options, doing some reading up and read good things about the Beyma AMT drivers as an alternative to CD/Horns, just a bit spendy! As an alternative to a 2" CD/Horn for a <1000Hz crossover, I’ve been looking into the Beyma AMT (£££) drivers and some of the alternatives, such as the GRS Planar Mid/Tweeters, could use a pair or even three a side in a Line Array. I did really like the Magnepan MMG when I had them, although the limited vertical dispersion was noticable, actually in real world listening not a deal breaker.

Today spent cleaning the other 3x BM2500.4 drivers, coming up well.

Some testing on the Volt BM2500.4 drivers, pretty basic so far but an interesting comparison, bit of a discrepancy of 1-1.5dB between them, could try a bit more cleaning to see if they come together a bit closer.
I've got the little bookshelves working well and sounding good, I think I will just crack on with the main project with the Volt/Seos MTM.
Still trying to nail down the CD choice, I had an offer of a pair of Faital Pro HF10AK but I gather with an exit angle of 21°, its less suitable for the Seos 12, and that the HF108/108R might be a better choice at 31°?
The BMS 4550 seems popular with the Seos 12 but then has an exit angle of 14° so now I'm just confused.

So bit of an update, I have now purchased a pair of HF10AK & LTH102 for the tweeter section, just the midrange to sort now! I do have the 10F/8414 but the sensitivity is going to be too low.
2x Volt BM2500.4 (16-Ohm) up to ~700Hz
Midrange (TBC) ~700Hz to ~1.5kHz
Faital Pro HF10AK/LTH102 ~1.5kHz >
I really want to try another pair of the Supravox 165 drivers, either the cheaper GMF version or another pair of the 2000 AlNiCo drivers, although the new price is well out of budget these days.
From my research, I think I'll need at least 92dB to keep up with the Volts, even active with the FA123, so the Scanspeak 15M/4624 looks a good bet, being very affordable and good sensitivity.
I love to get to grips with Hornresp, and try a horn/scoop for the Volts but I think the complexity is going to be too high, and just keep them in a ~40 Litre BR enclosure for now.

Thanks, I shall investigate.
I do have a pair of Seas W22NY001 in a pair of commercial speakers here, used in a 2-way to good effect. I could give those a go actually.
Midrange sorted for now, I have bought back my old pair of Veravox 5S drivers, which I have had before in the past a few times. I remember them being very linear and smooth through the midrange so should be ideal. Will also give me a fair bit of flexibility in crossing the HF10AK higher if required, and or using a smaller horn if I want too.
Getting very close to where I was almost 10 years ago, with a Volt Bass driver (a BM251.3 back when you could still buy them), the Veravox drivers and a mix of Fountek JP2 & Radian 475PB.
