I will ship out the XO kits (some with waveguides) over the next couple of days.

Is this number sufficient to supply only current group buy, or does it also include the up coming buy as well,I hope!

I have two dozen and looks like there are 8 from 1st GB so I have enough for 4 more sets on GB2. We are at the limit now. But maybe in a month the supply from PE will be back in stock.

I think it is time to show explicitly how to wire the woofer array to get 4ohms nominal. These are 8x GRS PR6-8 (8ohms woofers).
The woofers with the front facing out (magnets inside the chamber) needs to be wired negative phase. It is 4 opposed sets in parallel, then two sets of 4 in series, then the remaining set of 4 drivers each in 2 parallel. Ignore the 1W 8ohm label on the power amp - that is just the default icon on Xsim.

Hi Folks,
I was hoping to ship the XO’s and waveguides out over the weekend but realized that I had run out of shipping boxes as these are pretty big heavy shipments. I’ll get the boxes by today or tomorrow and get these out to you by end of this week.

Good call. I would suggest all builders put in orders for the drivers. You never know what the supply chain may do nowadays.

I got the update that my order was pushed back from 7/15 to 8/15. I'm not in a massive rush but still frustrating no less.

I wondered if a batch came in and all have gone out, I guess not. Oh well, as long as I'm haven't even looked at wood yet, so I have no reason to get bummed yet!

Amazon does not have 8 ohm version, they "don't know when" they will be in stock.

I want to augment the quantiies in my GB commitment. I now want three sets of the wave guides total - the other item is unchanged.. I look forward to your findings on alternative sources for the GRS PT2522-4.

My Etsy shipping notice identifies quantity of two. But as you can see here my augmented order was for three.
Can you correct what appears to be a misunderstanding. I do want three of the wave guides.

The schematic in the box shows just the 47uF mentioned in #13, is the plan to still use 47uF and 3.3uF in parallel to get 50uF?

I did include the 3.3uF to let you make a 50uF - it’s a minor effect. You could probably leave it off and go with 47uF if you wanted. Sorry about the typo.

I’m glad the kit got to you so quickly. I have about 3 more kits to pack and send out. Working on them in the order they were placed.
