Artosalo,
According to the data sheet you provided. if I understand it correctly, the 6p3s is rated at 400 volts plate, 300 volts screen grid and the 6p3s-e is rated at 250 volts max plate and screen.
I've been under the impression that the "E" version had higher ratings.
Can anyone chip in with their experiences running the 6P3S-E at voltages higher than 250?
Thanks, S.

~475 B+, PP Class AB1, triode strapped. No problems whatsoever. 🙂Can anyone chip in with their experiences running the 6P3S-E at voltages higher than 250?

Thanks Artosalo. So the "E" version will last longer, but do not like voltages higher than 250? So I can move up to nearly 400v on the plate!Artosalo,

I have also used 6P3S-E at 450 V in UL PP with no problem at all. I know several 6P3S-E amplifiers I have built more than 10 years ago
and those all are still running with original tubes.
