Hi, all!
I realize this is a long shot, but might anyone have any information (complete T/S parameters ideal!) on these drivers (pictured). I bought these in 1996 (wow... been a while!). I've brought them out of storage and am putting them in a new install (considering making mid-bass enclosures). I've scoured the internet and NOTHING. I even contacted Soundstream and couldn't get an answer.
So... hoping that the stars align and there's an old-school car audio Soundstream aficionado who might have a clue!
Thanks in advance for your help!

A little bit of info in post #4: https://www.diymobileaudio.com/threads/soundstream-nt1-tweeters-and-crossovers.147495/
Yep, that is all I could find too
Basically seems like the passive crossover they had was 24 db
which had impedance compensation as mentioned by manufacture.
other than that they mention recommended 3000 Hz crossover
with active systems.
So seems about the norm for soft dome tweeter.
and to calm the usual breakup from a woofer around 3 to 6k
if for midbass and using a sub.
they would likely be fine in a sealed box around .8 to 1.5 cubic feet
far as a reflex alignment , unlikely

Maybe try downloading an old copy of winISD and checking the driver database ?
My (newer) version lists a Reference SS 8 , but not the 6" version.
Rob.

Depending on where your located, might be a local speaker geek willing to measure them for you. Even better if your willing to ship them to someone for measurements.

Yeah, PFL... that is the ONLY document I've been able to find on the Net. Thanks for taking the time and posting, though!
Thanks for your input, Dragon. I think I'm going to abandon the idea of doing a sealed enclosure in the door and just run them IB. I've treated the heck out of the doors, so we'll see how they perform!Yep, that is all I could find too

Hey, Rob... great idea! I actually tried that. To my surprise, they have a lot of old school Soundstream subwoofers in the database (8s, 10s, 12s, 15s), but, alas, no 6.5s! lolMaybe try downloading an old copy of winISD and checking the driver database ?

That's a good idea, Planet. Frankly, that never even occurred to me. There's an audio shop that's been in business over 50 years now (seriously) right down the road from me. Maybe I'll give them a call. Fingers crossed!Depending on where your located, might be a local speaker geek willing to measure them for you.
