The Alps pot that you have is a carbon track type, not conductive plastic, so the D5 is fine.
I've used it on many similar Alps pots with good results.
This one has free shipping, and is in stock.

You wouldn't know the model of it in case I ever wanted to solder a new one in?The Alps pot that you have is a carbon track type, not conductive plastic, so the D5 is fine.

All those Alps pots look very similar, and should have the same 6 pin footprint,
so you could go by the resistance spec for the volume control. I think it is the RK163 series pot.

Thinking is the same as speculation.... and dangerous sometimes. All those Alps pots look very similar, and should have the same 6 pin footprint,

I might ask Topping but they take forever to respond. All those Alps pots look very similar, and should have the same 6 pin footprint,

Frankly, it is unlikely that you could buy an exact replacement because of all the options:I might ask Topping but they take forever to respond.
resistance value, shaft length, flat or serrated, and that's just for one series of dual volume control.
There are just too many variations for a distributor to stock them. Only a mfr can order enough
parts at a time for Alps to make up a production run with one exact configuration.
In other words, unless Topping will ship one to you, it isn't likely that you will find one.
Rather, check what your preferred distributor stocks, and see if it will work. If it's a different
mfr, make sure to check the footprint, bushing diameter, shaft length, etc. There's no
guarantee that another company parallels Alp's product line mechanical specs.
But I would definitely try cleaning the existing pot first. Make sure you get both decks clean
(front and back).

Well if Topping is willing to tell me specs, I'm sure I can find one. I haven't cracked the amp open yet due to wanting to see what Topping would tell me but I'm not shipping it back to them. Also I use it daily as it's my near field amp and I work from home. The pot does have a number on it in the pic so once I crack it open I should be able to cross reference it.Frankly, it is unlikely that you could buy an exact replacement because of all the options:

Maybe, but unless it's the complete 12 digit part number as listed in the mfr catalog,
it won't tell you enough to know whether it will be an exact replacement.

I'm also truthful about things that I know of.You're not helping with your comments
And if you feel offended because I brought to the table a true statement, it's on you.

You just come a bit "holier than thou" and I appreciate your experience, the snarkiness just comes off bad
There's a chance one of these will fit. You have to select the version, and buy 4 for $20. Not too bad actually, free ship.
I think the "A" version is log taper, and the "B" version is linear taper. You want log taper type for a volume control.
