Hi everyone,
i recently bought a AA-AB32314 Board, that is now powered by a MW UHP-350-36 SMPS.
When connected to power or after the connection on J15 to end the stand-by mode i hear a medium loud switch-on pop.
I was wondering if i bougt a defect board, or if this is a normal behavior from this kind of board?
Thank you for reply
Jens

What did sure sales support say? I have two 3x 400w modules coming soon, I’ll let you know if I have the same issue. I hope notHi everyone,

I've got some older Sure modules from years ago, JAB2 and JAB3 and they are full of issues, noisy, crosstalk over DSP, interference, bluetooth worked for 2 meters and for about two hours before giving up, can't charge batteries / use the boards together due to shared connectors, awkward and cumbersome DSP programming etc. But, for their price they've full filled the duty nice with cost of few packs of cigarettes.
Please don't expect high quality for low price, that would be backwards. I don't know why people expect quality but are not prepared to pay for it.
Have fun!😀

connected to my B&W LCR6 s2 the switch-on pop has a lower volume. My Testspeakers are little JVC Fullrange from a compact system.
Maybe the Crossover is compensating some of the pop.

I just wanted to hear the T-AMP technologie (Tripath Driver and some bigger ClassD-Chip) of the AA-AB32314 Board and i must admit, that i'm quite impressed. There is a ~90€ Board + 70€ SMPS laying on my desk and in the direct compairson to a recaped Musical Fidelity x150 and Musical Fidelity A1 and Avalon and a unrestored Yamaha A777 and Kenwood KA5020 it is definitly a huge step forward in point of soundstage, level of detail and seperation of instruments. Someone may find it a little bit "sterile" but i like the subjective fastness and clearity that i get with this amp. I will bring it to a friends place and compare it with a ASR Emitter (batteriepowerd) on B&W 804 s3. This is a nice first step into Class D, i smelled blood. Just the background noise is quite high. Lets se if there is some room for improvement.
thank you all
🙂
Edit: If J15 is connected to a proper switch, the switch-on pop is gone.
