A try to build a studio monitor-like speaker

Have you ever tried to make a Moving Mic Measurement? That is a very quick way to get the same thing and is very repeatable.

No I have not, but my colleague Headshake has done this and has recommended it to me. I need to find out how to do it with ARTA... it is probably in the manual somewhere.

Assuming that our friend Waxx goes forward with a waveguide on the tweeter, what is the best way to simulate in VituixCad2 the response of a dome tweeter in a waveguide?

You can use periodic pink noise in ARTA and keep it averaging.

Good background on this link
Moving Mic Measurement

Audioscience Review has some good threads on it too using REW in RTA mode, you will find much more information on REW than ARTA for this.

You can't simulate the waveguide in Vituix without simulating in another way and bringing the data in. I am trying to do that in another thread but it has proven difficult and I'm not sure why yet as I have done exactly the same thing before.

This is what the SB26 in an augerpro 5" waveguide simulates like in an infinite baffle and augerpro says that it measures very much the same in reality.

I can't forget it: everyday when i do grocieries for my job my suppliers keep on telling me this is. I must say i've got issues believing them but everyone have to justify a way or another... ( i love when they tell me it is harvest time and there is short supply of vegetables... this is when i tell me i really looks like an idiot!).
