Thanks.
Maybe I´m old school but expected a larger toroid or similar but hey, if it works!!!
Can´t read the labeling, can you please post it so I search for that part?
If I can order it or a similar one over the counter it will certainly simplify my life.
Thanks.
I was asking about the inductor, which you kindly circled in yellow

PS: The one on that board is the -223 variant 😉
+/- 50 v on the scope in 2,7 ohm, How much power is it in watts
I do not know exactly how to calculate it, based on the voltage an oscilloscope shows. Do you count the 50 volts or is it 100 volts?
For example, is it as simple as 50 x 50 / 2.7 ?

I got it 😀
50 V * 0.707 = 35,35
35,35 * 35,35 = 1249,6
1249,6 / 2,7 ohm = 462,82 Watt rms
---------
50 V * 50 V = 2500
2500 / 2,7 = 925,92 Watt peak
50 V * 0.707 = 35,35
35,35 * 35,35 = 1249,6
1249,6 / 2,7 ohm = 462,82 Watt rms

It surprised me a bit that the output coil is described as a 20 Ampere and the one in the link seems to be half, so I just took a picture of the one sitting on my modules.

Could be anything

Maybe.
Its a 22uH and i believe its a single coil. But how do you know it is the -223 variant

Because the one in the original photo (circled yellow) has the brand and part number all over it 😉
The other one you just posted is unbranded - so it could be anything., all it has on it is the (a) value and production week code.

Don´t know if its the same inductor, but if it is you´re right 😀
It probably depends on where you buy them.
Where I bought mine, they showed the picture of the module with 80 V capacitors, but I got modules with 100 volt capacitors 😕

Still surprised at the minuscule size, I was used to see a, say, 20mm diameter toroid, some 4 times larger and presumably heavier than that compact part.
Obviously this is a cutthroat market and any cost reducing step will be taken by them.
Was trying to get specs and datasheet (already found them) because being 10000 km away but much worse, across a Customs barrier, I can´t order "just one" (or 10) because I have a fixed freight and processing cost plus sheer wasted time even if I bring a 10 cent resistor in so in practical terms minimum order is 100 of anything (I am talking components) and obviously mistakes become expensive.

I was expecting something like THIS, not that tiny finger nail sized inductor:
Still shaking my head in disbelief 😕

Ah but how do the characteristics work out between the two .....
