Tube Amp AC Wiring

It should be added that this (to interrupt only "hot" wire) does not work in EU standard system, ...

It will work. Turns on. Turns off.

It is against the rules in many places.

Frank seems to be in Alabama USA, where single-pole switches are universal in lights and appliances.

In my dreams I realized that my plan does not cancel all fields. But if Frank is happy then so am I.

Nice drawing but... aren't both switch wires HOT? So even twisted, the electrostatic field won't cancel?

I think what is wanted is more like this (right side).

Thanks for the butter.

You're right of course. I always put the power supply at the front of the chassis with the transformer right next to the switch so the cancellation works. I drew the transformer where it is without thinking about the difference. Thanks for keeping me awake !

What about this ?

When switch is on, all fields cancel.

When switch is off, who cares ... ?
