I can't wait til I settle down in my next place and build my dedicated listening room... I'm trying to be patient and not build anything until after I move.

I'm really interested in building and hearing the Sissy in person.

Surely this needs Listeningroom1.0 to be trialled before going to House2.0. Will allow all the bugs to be sorted.

Yes, just some simple panels. I generally hang mine with a single drywall screw on a picture wire.

You would be surprised how effective some rock wool covered with some acoustic cloth works to absorb reflections.

I have the previous SissySit kit (I just like to collect unfinished projects) and a bunch of Tokins with correct values bought from Pras. Would the R.3 still be na upgrade? Is this a refinement of your previous design?

no sonic differences, just ("just") made to accommodate any Ugs value SIT

result is also better Iq and DC Offset stability than previous iterations

if you have decent behaving SITs with previously established (as adequate) Ugs values, you're good either with first or R.2 SissySIT

Brethren for sure, but level of wakoosness greater with SissySIT

SissySIT being more wakoo Foolower than any of other ones

whichever you look at, DEFiSIT rulez them all!

though, his recent approach, of making ultrasimple Toyz for Boyz (but with a quirk!) paid off dearly - enormous number of them being successfully built and used with great joy every day

following that, I'm happy that I brought DEFiSIT for masses .........

Are you saying DIY N-channel V-fet is merely a toy, and Sissysit has more X, but what beats everything is the DefiSIT?
Then why am I not building the DefiSIT? Token OK or unobtanium required? Massive heatsinks required? Planninng to build four amps plus active subwoofers.

besides , they are all result of Papa's brain, and there is no best or better......... each having rightful place in Papamp Universe

which one to build never is matter of cold analysis and comparative evaluation ..... choice need to be made to build an amp which delights you most in advance
