If you think back to the now known reports of Naval pilots in the 40's
Flying around in the fastest propeller driven planes.
Coming in contact with the first German Jets.
The reports are very similar. Unknown and unseen shapes never seen before.
And incredible impossible speeds.
So if you think how amazing drone technology is now. Just for a civilian.
Amazing stabilization , navigation and electronics available at a hobby shop.
Then thinking how fast spy planes were in the 80's
Obviously its more likely that there is some incredible fast spy drones now.
And when you have " increased reports" around Navy fleets or other objects.
That a someone would likely want to have a look at.
Mainly location and heading.
Do you really think they cant make a very very fast drone.
Thinking of power to weight ratio. And very known weird shapes you have seen
already developed to not be radar detectable.
Something small is easier to make incredible fast. Something hard to detect

And is very likely has anti capture mechanism. Meaning if captured or pursued fly away fast then ...POOF

What, maybe, seemed outlandish then, was actually the next advancement on most military aircraft technology roadmaps, and already in development in multiple countries. Far more fantastic about UFO reports, compared to those historical emergent technical advances, is that their performance difference isn’t just a leap ahead, or even a radical leap ahead of us.
