i am about to build jungson classA amp, since I have plenty of output transistors, schematics available, and it looks like nice no global feedback design
https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/solid-state/266431-jungson-ja88-09-schematic.html#post4501557 - is this what you mean ?
yeah, and you see my post below
I like it simplicity, plus all the parts are available
no need for some unobtainium outputs
but I have way too many projects going on right now

olid state amplifiers...with no loop NFB around the output stage.
What a terrible idea!
Mark, I was going to ask about Threshold Stasis, but did not have a look at the schematics - not sure.
Re "terrible idea!" - you are entitled to your opinion, a different opinion is "who is able to sell is right".

Only the terribly ill-informed would purchase an audio power amplifier whose output stage is left out of the global feedback loop.
Again, you are a "new" member here and/but introduce yourself without anything
else than confrontative views. I acknowledge this, but your reasoning is not clear.
Perhaps you can explain what is going on. People here try to check out different ways
to achieve some goal. Geniuses share and the poor will get assistance. Not sure what
you want to tell us.
Define "terribly ill-informed". This is not a forum for people who buy an amp - we
discuss and build amps.
In other words : this thread was just a compilation of "Commercial solid state amplifiers
with no loop feedback around the output stage" - do you want to change it ?
Discussion about topics like this is in other threads ..

Can you post your designs?
The caption says that Tandberg amplifier uses feedforward error correction, but that is not true: in fact, it is a severely compromised application of Hawksford's error feedback correction circuit. Forr, I believe that scan is from an Electronics World letter to the editor in response to one of Self's articles in the 1990s.
