I am working on a draft brief for a three way system using BMS 18N862-8 Ohm, 18" bass driver a 12" Beyma 12P80ND? or V2 as it is now as the former is no longer made? and a 18sound NSD1095N which is an excellent driver as I have used it before.
I am looking for opinions for a suitable Horn Flare to work and integrate with the 12" Beyma (or other suitable 12" unit)
My initial thoughts were to use a Beyma TD164 which has Coverage angles of 60º in the horizontal plane and 40º in the vertical plane, is this a good match for the dispersion of the 12" driver?
Crossover has not been set but likely around 200Hz / 1300Hz or so.

The measurements someone made of this Eminence looked good. Like the discontinued QSC waveguide that was popular a decade ago.

The woofer is round, for one thing. In addition you may want to ask is this horn right for you in its own passband? Also, dealing with a narrow vertical is difficult with a flat front horn.60º in the horizontal plane and 40º in the vertical plane, is this a good match for the dispersion of the 12" driver?
@AllenB The vertical dispersion pattern is fine for my intended application, which is not PA.
I ultimately may not limit myself to 1" CD units, but will for now at this early stage. The Beyma Horns look fine but will not rule out the 18 Sound XT1086 which is a little wider in the vertical at 60º

Having used the 18sound NSD1095N in a couple of smaller systems I really like the sound quality of that unit. It has the excitement and dynamic drama well beyond the many dome tweeters I have used even some very expensive ones, plus they can be used a little lower, well with this unit down to about 1.3Khz or so with the XT1086 Flare.
I wanted to see what flares others are using as small format horns in three way systems. The XT1086 is a very good flare but wanted to see what others are using?

Ok, so subjective opinions. Maybe within a certain range/crossover frequency?
Not sure the 3-way aspect needs to add to the confusion, if all the woofer is doing is taking the bottom end. The M1 looks nice, but the waveguide choice will be about working with the mid.

Yep that is why I really just wanted to focus on the mid I proposed to use.

It's why I posted the Audio Express link on the 90 x 40 horn - it gives you a good idea of the pressure loss you can expect off-axis (..and notably one that's more *uniform at lower freq.s). From there you can look to your mid's pressure loss and see if you've got a similar pressure loss off-axis at and near the crossover freq. of choice.
*Note though that there is some "waist-banding" (extra pressure loss that's not as uniform) centered around 2 kHz at around 45 degrees off axis. This depends quite a lot on the measurement condition and IF you have mounted the horn to a baffle. (..a larger baffle should improve things, closer to what it is at 7 kHz, vs what you see below.)
Again, note that the actual linearity of the Beyma compression driver isn't very good - instead just look at the relative uniformity of pressure loss off-axis (0/15/30/45/60 degrees relative to freq.).
