I like help, but some of your responses seem less than good fun, or educational and more like condescention, or worse. You are a respected forum member, and maybe I’m reading in, but it feels a lot like something else.
This one in particular: "Although those ARE printed circuit boards, and they ARE in stock, ....
they are not bipolar voltage regulators, they are not for line level circuits, they do not include "De-Noiser" functionality, and their name is not VRDN."
It was obviously a mistake, on my part, but.... The written word can be ambigious, but it felt otherwise. Then this one....
If it is otherwise, I'm only saying how it feels, to me, with some of the responses.

Yes round 3 after actual round 2 , little patience..
probably ~ in October at BAF21..
But it sounds like the next design will be based around 2SK60 and 2SJ18, right? I think Bullitt was hoping for one based on the THF-51S. I'm also curious if there'll be designs based around the Tokins down the road?Round 3 will be a bring your own SIT amp kit.
Patience.
Or if you are in a hurry, Zen Mod has his Singing Bush (Tokin SIT common source) and coming soon, Lazy Singing Bush (Tokin common drain):
The Singing Bush
Single Ended Tokin SIT THF-51S Common Drain Mu Follower Amplifier , 45W?

Didn't mean for my question to be taken in a facetious tone. Just curious if anyone had heard of any plans from Papa. I'm super appreciative of all the resources and folks contributing to these projects. 🙂
Thanks for sharing those. I took a look and am seriously tempted. At the same time, I only have a couple pair of SITs. I'd hate to accidentally fry one. I'll do some more reading on these and SIT on the idea. 😉 Horrible pun, I'll see myself out.

The Ship of Theseus may sail into port someday, too.
Interesting that you chose to put the output stage near to the back and the transformers of the relentless to the front. Would you say it is better to have a shorter path to the speakers than it is to the input RCAs? Was there other considerations for the switch? Or is just not that important and they are interchangeable?
Thanks,
Rafa.
JT, in this particular case, I believe Mark is pointing to a post where he mentions he has designed a pseudo-clon of this amp using a whole different set of parts, even replacing the VFETs. And that his amp, so called “ship of Theseus” (due to the question “is it the same thing”?) may be available at the store (or at least public Gerbers?) at a latter time, so that those not lucky enough to win the lottery or have purchased the Tokins, may yet enjoy a similar sound footprint.I like help, but some of your responses seem less than good fun, or educational and more like condescention, or worse. At least that is how I understood his reply. I may be wrong.
Best regards,
Rafa.

One has to get accustomed to his replies, they’re not always what we would hope for, and sometimes are embarrassing…
But never ever forget his gifts to the community and also keep in mind how helpful he can be (when he‘s not in a too bad mood?)—so he has a sort of „unfilteredness“ one can like even when you feel, uhm, „sunk“… my conclusion is he‘s great although sometimes… you know 🥸
Good news everyone! First VFET chassis have been shipped today, check your inboxes 🙂 The remaining ones are going to be shipped in the next days
All invoices have been sent, if you haven’t received one please check your spam folder and then email contact@diyaudiostore.com.
I'm giving up my spot. I don't really think I want to run a class A amp (even a tiny one) long term, and it doesn't seem fair to build it (the fun part!) and then sell it right away.
Good luck to the folks still waiting!

Hi Jason,
I replied an email from Elena last saturday, but I think something went wrong. I`ve not received my invoice, and have the same message in a PM from Helpdesk
I resent today my email to contact@diyaudiostore.com Please check you received it correctly. Thank you
Víctor

Much appreciated to you and others that open opportunities for those of us hoping for a chance!
Wow, I'd completely forgotten there was another stage to the lottery, and then I fell over a message to say I'd been picked second time round.
I'm super excited to have a DIY project to do that doesn't involve concrete, floorboards or plumbing 😀
Huge thank you to Nelson, Jason and everyone involved for your generosity!!!
