We will find out soon enough. The important thing to keep in mind for the discussion on this thread is that evidence one way or the other is controlled by bureaucrats/politicians and not scientists. Also important to keep in mind is the potentially destabilizing nature of the topic. Confirmation of alien visitations threatens religions, the stability of stock markets and the world economy, and especially the entire existing energy sector, among others things. If you look at these three examples, what is the likelihood that high quality evidence that proves that aliens exist will be released if it is available? A discussion about the quality of available evidence without also discussing the control of said evidence is missing the point entirely.
If there were evidence that could conclusively disprove aliens visiting earth, why hasn’t it been released? The tic tac video is a move in the opposite direction. The real question, once again, is why?
There have been movies / TV shows depicting the consequences of such realization, Contact (1997), Star Trek Voyager. People died in those.

You think the government is competent enough to keep the existence of hard evidence for Aliens under wraps for decades? That would be an exceptional complement to make.
That depends on the government and the time period. During the height of cold war, things were much tighter at the government of US and USSR.

For the 1000th time, you can NOT prove something does not exist "somewhere", so it is useless to reach any conclusion.
So the proper way is to prove that something DOES exist and show it, that is the argument stopper.

That's a big assumption. Why would aliens, if they exist and visited us, not just plop down and talk to anyone? Why assume "bureaucrats/politicians" would have evidence? That makes no particular sense.
Who was it that stated, "The one making the extraorinary claims bears the burden of the proof,"? Now, what was the claim tizman made?
Pedantics again. Conviction by circumstantial evidence is practiced all over the world in systems that we accept as legally and legislatively robust.
What does that have to do with calling out inaccurate statement?
We don't all accept that. I don't know about the system used on your side of the pond but around where I am, jury system is used and there are plenty of hung jury cases despite the presentation of circumstantial evidence.
Is there a free flow of information on topics that pertain to national security? Let me answer the question for you. No. Who knows why or why not an alien would or wouldn’t do something? Anthropomorphizing is not helpful.
Exactly! Also, think about what is at stake. Besides, it doesn’t have to be perfect. If there are slips and leaks, just repress with ridicule and other methods. Citizens will take care of the rest.
Here is the short version. There is not a free flow of information on matters of national security. There are gatekeepers with agendas controlling the flow of information. One can’t assume that the information available is accurate and complete. This should be so obvious as to not require mentioning, but there it is.
Never know. Based on the types I've seen on internet forums for almost 20 years, you can't take anything for granted.
