What do you say about Nostromo? Is it a good box against A11MS. I have heard on youtube when Marks demo A11MS in a small BR box. I think it sounds ok. It has potential.
What do you think?

Yes.. I have problem with box.
I can try a small BR box + sub.
No problemas. I think this is the best choice.

It would be good to know the advantages and disadvantages of different speaker designs.
I have built BR, OB and TQWT (alpair12p).
I'm curious about MLQW

This review is sure in my favor;
Hello,
I am Michel from Geneva / Switzerland. I am 60 years old, and I have done many DIY speakers.
Congratulations to Mark Fenlon and his team !
This really full-range driver is a gem !
Well packaged and very well built speaker.
I use it in a vented box of about 14 liters.
Too many FR speakers are lacking basses, have too much front faced agressive mediums, and needs tweeters.
This is not the case with the 11 MS !
All what you need is there : articulate and consistent basses; present but not fatiguing mediums, and fine trebles.
As Mark says in its vid., the the 2D (and 3D) soundstage is very nice and precise.
The sound pressure is remarkable too, for the size of the 11 MS.
So, for domestic audiophile music listening, these are wonderfull.
Happy new year 2021, and best regards.

Now the pieces are on sawing.
Thanks to everyone who helped me find the best box for my needs.
Scottmoose, Dave and many others. You are all doing a fantastic job.
Had not choosen Alpair if there had not been drawings. Feels good and safe that Scottmoose is here. You helped me and many others. Thanks

A small question!
Do I need to immerse Alpair 11MS in the baffle?
I have mounted the box now and will soon make the holes for the elements.

IINM, the new MS as well as Pluvia series incorporate much thinner mounting flanges, that in combination with the reverse camber cone profile of the MS avoid the need to rebate. I think that makes it even more important to chamfer the rear side of driver hole; on most of my builds I scalloped the bevel, leaving small “pads” around the location of mount screws.
Try to avoid the temptation to machine the mounting holes for an interference fit; I usually allowed approx 1mm tolerance. The provided gasket is more than up to the task of providing an air tight seal, the composite frame can be warped or cracked if excessive force is applied fright to force a tight fit, and if you’re ever need to remove the driver, you’re guaranteed a problem.

Thanks for the help Dave and ChrisB.
Nice to avoid rebate. Progress that Mark Audio has come up with.
I will be careful to file out the phase in the hole. No machine there that can make the durability of the screws unstable.
I pre-drill with a small drill so that it does not crack.

Got the speakers together now.
I have connected them to the stereo.
First impression is that the bass is enough in my room.
Chose the 16 liter box BF.
I let them be recorded with Dire Straits for a few hours. Do not listen actively now.

Have been playing for a while now. The electronics are heated. Can only say that they sound fantastic.
All the details are there. Deep width height in the sound image.
Bass midrange and treble in moderation.
A big step forward against Alpair 12p.

Which boxes do you have your 12p's in?

They have never sounded good. Big disappointment since the first day. Have tried changing the filling. Nothing helps.
A11MS is really a big step for the better.

Are the full plans for the Sea Stack and Water Buffalo available in the Woden Designs Hardwood Series? Happy to pay for them, just want to make sure they're included.FWIW, a handful that I've done. They all get below 50Hz, with the smallest version of Nostromo (intended for high output impedance amplifiers) having the least extension, with an anechoic F6 of about 48Hz. The others get lower.
