As I understand from Jason (subject to much change) the phase 3 kits (for those with VFets already) would be shipping in October (or later…)

I’m hoping to learn from phase 1 and 2, and continue to follow the builds, and impressions. I hope to have a successful build later this year, keep a pair of spares, and donate the others to the cause.

Jumping on SissySIT R3 in an existing deluxe 5u Aleph J chassis when the kits come out. Wild card being a SIT amp from NP using the modular FE cards.

thanks 6l6, and I know what you mean, and fortunately I own a diy sony vfet . however, from time to time i am happy to enjoy my SE 300b . i was just wondering how is the sound signature of the wonderful sony vfet in a SE configuration compared to the PP.

How would you compare your 300B to your DIY Sony VFET? I'm guessing the PP provides a bit more authority than the SE 300B?

DIY Sony VFET is single ended, it is not push pull. Full schematics are published and freely available, have a look.

Which one has the biggest Cherry on the top end ?
Which one has the biggest Enriched Chocolate mid range ?
Which one has the most Prunes in the bottom end ?
It would be nice to know what my diets missing out on.
