Hi Duke,
No problem, it took me > 4 years to make them. Most of the time I work outside. Only problem is not a lot happens between Dec - March due to weather.
I started with making the mould for paper mache horn.
Then cut the vertical horn pieces out of 4mm BB ply & laminated them.
Due to their size & weight I had to assemble them in the listening room.

Lovely system!
Didn't know paper mache was a viable option for horns. I'll save that knowledge for further use 🙂

Nostalgia
I wanted to take my system to active crossover use, so robbed the power amp from the second system. I wound up replacing all but the speakers with this. These are a Dual 506 with ADC Gold cartridge, and a JVC VR-5551 receiver. The volume and source selector were a bit scratchy, but responded well to some deoxit spray. The turntable original output cables need replacing, but works fine now and holds its speed well. The speakers were inspired by ZM&K satellites, but I cross them lower with a single 4 ohm eBay full ranger, out puts match nicely at about 1500 hertz.

Yoke, those speakers are gorgeous. very similar baffle to what i'm building, but if I can get even half-way to your finish, i'll be very pleased with myself. Seriously amazing DIY and I can imagine they play very nicely indeed.
Phillips and magnat
Hi There
I have bought a phillips Fb565 and a Magnat concept 1200.
I have a question about the magnats, these have no damping in the box, these are bassreflex.
Mybe the blankets are removed by previous owner. Th magnats do wonderfull with the tubes hybrid amp
without feedback.
Both need new surrounds.
regards
