@prasi
Thank you for that insight. Just another clarification - if you would please
The BOM for your PCB lists 2 different 100 nF capacitors. One is 250V Panasonic epoxy coated PET and the other is 63V WIMA box-type PET. Any reason for this? Can we use 250V Vishay polyester instead
Thanks

C13 does not see a lot of voltage and a low voltage "small" 5mm pitch 100nf is adequate.
C14 is part of the Zobel and can see larger voltages and currents, so "larger" 15mm pitch 100nf non inductive is more suited
APEX AA11
Hi Prasi What is the value of C14 and C15. Is 1000uf 25v suitable.

hi,
they are local decoupling caps. i think they are 8mm dia. find the largest value with adequate voltage rating should be enough.
so 25v is enough.
KSC are readily available, but not KSA from what I can see. Thanks, hopefully I'll find some!

@prasi & @Vostro - thanks for your help.
Anyone shed light on whether 2SA1930 can directly replace 2SA1837 and
2SC5171 be used instead of 2SC4793?
Thanks

Thanks, Prasi!
For A40 I've secured all except two - 2SA 1930 and 2SC 5171
I came across seller sicstock and they have them but not cheap, Toshiba brand. Is this place legitimate?
Any replacements for these two Transistors?

Can you find 2sa1837 and 2sc4793?
Also could use mje15032/33 or mje15034/35, the latter has a higher hfe gain. These don’t have an isolated tab, so insulate.

Sicstock has them. No stock at Mouser, Digikey and Newark.
Mouser has mje15032/33 or 34/35 in stock.
