Just this standard set of red and white RCA looks terrific, $16
Cardas CTFA RCA, Sonic Craft
ICE inlet, "closeout" $13
Furutech AC-Inlet G, Sonic Craft
Copper binding posts, solder, short, $34
Cardas CCBP S Binding Post, Sonic Craft
Whatever the group buy ends up being, put me down for that. I trust your judgement! I'll need at least:
2x binding posts for a stereo setup, and 1x RCA input.
These are all from the Cardas place, and parts that I would need - although, perhaps blowing cheddar on these connectors is throwing good money after something that isn't necessary for upgrades.? I recall there being another place that specialized in knobs and switches, that were amazing looking. I can't find the bookmark anywhere now. But I'd also love a classy looking LED indicator, and nice on/off switch.

The amp has machined holes for leds to be mounted - exactly like firstwatt amps.
One for each channel or for each heatsink.

Since this is already complete insanity, why not take it to the max, count me in for a Cardas kit. Although I really like the idea of an RCA to XLR cable so the need for the two RCA connectors may be moot.
No worries.

The cutout on the back panel is for a schurter iec connector.
Be careful there pico, the filtered ones I have looked at - like the DD12, have a different sized mounting hole to the 27.2mm x 58mm one you have with screw holes at 40mm centres. (is that the size you have shown on your back panel layout?)
If you have found one that fits the same hole, let us know the part number thanks.

All the ones I have checked have the same mounting holes just the cut out is a little larger.
The cut out accomodates for this

I figure, once we make the order: we'll get the parts that fit! But it's good to look a bit down the line to make sure the parts that fit are both good, and available 🙂 Thanks for your guys' hard work!

The Cutout is 61mm x 29.5mm
This accommodates the standard IEC and the filtered IEC connector from the last time I checked.
I will list the part numbers
Glad you mentioned that, as I thought you had the cutout the same as on the back panels in the DiyAudio store that use the Schurter 4304.6090 IEC socket, which has a cutout size of 27.2mm x 58mm with the 2 mounting screw holes on 40mm centres.
Looking forward to the part numbers that fit your cutout, thanks.

Schurter Filtered IEC Products
FKH - IEC Appliance Inlet C14 with Filter, Fuseholder 1-pole, Line Switch 2-pole
FKI - IEC Appliance Inlet C14 with Filter, Fuseholder 2-pole, Line Switch 2-pole
FKHD - IEC Appliance Inlet C14 with Filter 2-Stage, Fuseholder 1-pole, Line Switch 2-pole
FKID - IEC Appliance Inlet C14 with Filter 2-Stage, Fuseholder 2-pole, Line Switch 2-pole
There are many variations of these, Medical and Non-Medical versions.
Aluminium and Nickel Plated Steel Housings. I would go with the nickel plated steel version for the magnetic shielding.
You probably should get the 10A version.
The parts listed above with suffix D have a 2 stage filter
The parts without suffix D have a single stage filter
The parts with the letter I have dual fuses
The parts with the letter H have a single fuse
The medical versions don't include Y caps

This is why you got Pico doing this.
There is a method to my dumbness.
Hahaha

That's another selling point. I was too humble to mention it earlier.
Thanks for that.
Get The SUPERIOR Chassis from PICO, you can have it all with either FILTERED or NON-FILTERED IEC Connectors

There are 2 back panels.
One with pilot holes to put in whatever binding posts or RCAs you want
The other is a a back panel to fit a Cardas kit. Parts with links were shown earlier.
@Gianluca: when ordering this, is it still possible to add customisations to the front panel like one would normally do by adding them to the cart on the webshop?
I have looked at the Schurter FKHD 4304.5045 which is their standard dual filter rated at 250VAC and 10 amps. Trouble is no stock showing anywhere - also the same for some of the other models.
So, where do we get them!
