I know reversed works but whats correct,

I’m surprised the good drM hasn’t answered yet but he’s busy building... the "Hot" mains live should go to the tab that leads directly to the fuse as the next connection. I have a white PCB so I don’t know the orientation on your black board. Continuity check...

I've never had a Yamaha, I think it's a great amp.
I also prefer vintage but the TPA3255 impressed me more than the other in class d
I still have little known German amplifiers and speakers (Grundig), I find them fantastic, with the tpa3255 the harmonics fly
