in my opinion - HV23 was the most natural sounding APEX amplifier with IRFP240/IRFP9240 in output stage that i have ever built. NX14,F100 were involved... both made with no regrets - but HV was better in my opinion.
no need to do HV23 in most powerfull option - two output devices is ok to achieve its best sounding and power characteristics- all-tohether. both NX14 and F100 were sounding just all right,no mistake - but HV23 was just most natural sounding than both from above. my opinion is that it is really hard to beat HV23,in any of versions (one two three four) output IRFP240/IRFP9240 transitors.

You forgot to put link to schematic, pcb... approved.in my opinion - HV23 was the most natural sounding APEX amplifier with IRFP240/IRFP9240...
Your opinions are great!
Thanks

Hello 44250
Can i use 2sc5200/2sa1943 in output for HV23 what should be rail voltage for 5 pair, I have 50 -0-50Ac 700VA trans.
Mr.Mile,
mos200-ii, can you check my schema for correctness?

Nice work, no mistakes.

What is the name of CAD software?
Thank you
Hi Prasi & Mile,
Does the bias T3 need to be in contact with the output or is proximity enough?

You need to do a design rules check.
1/ Clearance check.
2/ Continuity check.
3/ Tracks in wrong layer check.
4/ Minimum via hole size checks.
If your software doesn't include these as a minimum throw it out.
Does the bias transistor need to be in thermal contact with the outputs/heatsink?
Sorry for asking again.
