Hi
Recently I got few complaints about the amps that uses these driver boards as shown in the attachment. The amp trips when they drive 1ohm into it. Other wise with 2ohms or 4ohms they will play good. But when they get some heavy load they will trip. I want to know where to investigate the problem. Thank you.

Are you referring to amps that have never failed but are going into protect or are these amps that have been repaired?
They never repaired all parts are from factory. And all the time they were playing good. Suddenly they start tripping when high load is given. Are you referring to amps that have never failed but are going into protect or are these amps that have been repaired?
Does the amp latch into protection and requires that you power-cycle it to make it turn on again or does it simply shut down and come back on without doing anything except waiting a few seconds?
I removed the driver board to check for cold joints. And checked few polymer box capacitors. Everything looking good. I putback driver board and powered the amp the amp came on and relay clicks but no oscillations at all. Amp only pulls 1 5amp.Does the amp latch into protection and requires that you power-cycle it to make it turn on again or does it simply shut down and come back on without doing anything except waiting a few seconds?
Amp was coming on normal no latching to protection.Does the amp latch into protection and requires that you power-cycle it to make it turn on again or does it simply shut down and come back on without doing anything except waiting a few seconds?
After I resolder few joints now amp not going into protect but there is no output. No oscillations on outputs.Does the red protect light come on when the amp shuts down?
Did you damage a via?
Did you make a solder bridge?
Did you solder something that was connected to a charged capacitor?

I was very careful when removing board. It came very clean. I check for solder bridge but I did not find any. I soldered joints inI board only when it was out. And soldered the mainboard parts when rails caps were fully discharged.Did you damage a via?

Yes all the voltages present.Do you have rail and regulated voltages?
I changed the two audio IC and amp came to life. i hope it wont trip immaturely as custome complaint about it.
There have been instances where the SD terminal was leaking and the internal CCS couldn't pull it up when the muting/SD drive was released.
If this shows up in the other amps, the ICs may be from a defective or counterfeit batch.
As an outside possibility, there could be something with the drive circuit that's damaging the IC.
