Polivoks synthesizer.
Totally cool, and unobtainable here.
I like your avatar.
Now there are two Marvins?
Another stressful trip to the hardware store today to pick up tools & supplies for the ridiculous rolling-closet-shelves idea I mentioned earlier. This isn't working out as well as I'd hoped, but it will be usable I suppose. Really the best part is just having all my parts better organized & sorted than they've been in years (decades?).

When the Carolla-pandemic is gone, pay Sweden a visit, play with my Polivoks and teach me some chords on the electric guitar.😀
I bought a couple of Male Neutrik XLR's and 6M of mic cable. Planning on doing a DIY stereo mic using some panasonic WM60AY mic capsules (with linkwitz mod) that I bought many years ago.
I think I have a workable line driver now just hope it doesn't take me another five years to build it (usually when I design something, that's what happens 😉 )
Tony.

@haiqu, congrats on the house. Sounds like you got it for way less than replacement cost of the building alone!

Here are a few pictures of one of mine. I made these over 20 years ago when I was paying for rental storage space and I needed to maximize my "stuff per cubic foot." I'm still using some of them today.
They were also a big help when I could roll the shelves right up the ramp into the moving truck, bungee them all together and drive them all 1200 miles without emptying the shelves.
They are simple, made from 1 X 4 and 2 X 4 wood pieces some deck screws and glue. All the weight from the shelves sits right over the wheels so the frame itself does not need to be very strong.

Nanovna ... to tune up an HF mag loop I'm making. All my pro Anritsu site masters etc don't go down to 40m band!
Yup, the one with the larger display. That's what I bought a couple days ago.Nanovna ...
I just bought a Lenovo T-450s laptop for a friend of mine. Hopefully he sends me the $$ right away since it went on my Visa. I'd like to get it paid off like .... NOW.

🙂 Yes, the nanovna is pretty good value - consider what you would have had to pay a few years ago!
If you MUST use UPS, use Worldwide Saver. It'll come by air instead of surface, and it'll end up costing less in the long run as there's no brokerage fee.
Most times UPS is forced on everyone. You don't get the opportunity to clear packages yourself either.
Normally USPS s the best choice unless the vendor charges you large for that service. I don't mind the duty, and you can pre-pay the package to save another $10. That damned border and its paperwork costs normal people billions a year.

No, that's not true about customs, you can force UPS to let you do it, I forget the details, but I'm sure it's Google-able. Of course, it's easier in Calgary because a side effect of YYC's push to become a courier hub is our modern airport industrial area with all the couriers and customs office a stone's throw from each other.
That may be true, but that irritation is worth something as well. When I can, I have people use Fedex or USPS.
UPS is a disorganized, expensive joke.

The shame sheet all over the world, in other words.UPS is a disorganized, expensive joke.
Swedish/Danish post - PostNord have a very bad reputation. That bad that the company often is nicknamed PostMord, where Mord = Murder ...

A telescope. I see it listed for almost $200 but was $130 in a webshop where I also purchased to CDs from Reverend Peyton And His Big Damn Band - So Delicious! and Front Porch Sessions.
Must say that this is NOT my kind of music but when I listen to the preacherman I still find the music so bluesy and dirty that it certainly have a place in my place.
Also bought four "locks" (boxlocks?) for the Polivoks-case and a 5-pin DIN-connector for the same synth.
