Yea I know what it's like having expensive hobbies. My other love is photography, mainly nature photography. So that means big expensive lenses that can cost more then a new car.
Needless to say I have more lenses on my wish list then in my camera bag. Good glass is going to cost you. I have a couple pretty nice lenses that I make due with though. At least with photography you don't have the snake oil salesman trying to sell you some esoteric BS promising magical results. It's just expensive.I think I am going to renew my fishing licence tomorrow and go hit the Santa Barbra Channel. Do some surf fishing. Maybe talk my friend into taking his boat out.
