Another suggestion is to try the NJM2068, or NJM2114, are what I often use to replace the NE5532 most of the time.

Mountainview components is offering Philips NE5532A that he says were manufactured in 2016. Is that possible? I have read that the Philips factory in France burned down in 2003.
Not to mention that Philips Semiconductor have been called NXP for about as long. (BTW, I don't think the whole factory burned down, but there was damage to that production line. That also cost us their BD139/140, though the same die in surface mount packages is still available from NXP.)
Looks like Signetics / Philips parts had a date code in yyww format. Looking up some pictures, the latest I've seen indicated 01, with plenty from about the mid-'80s through the '90s.
