I can't edit my post anymore, so sorry for the double post.
Do you think my logic is sound in regard to combination of the crossovers?
This is, what it would look like (slightly modified tweeter section to match the woofer layout from ton-feile ( http://bilder.hifi-forum.de/max/186876/kef-ls50-pimp-schaltung_339802.png )

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Wow 4 bumps so you can steal intellectual property? My suggestion would be to buy a pair or befriend someone with a pair and crack them open. Donzo!
How is it stealing? And anyways who cares..

crossover Remove the second woffer inductor, completely remove the 5uf and 8.2 resistor OFF the tweeter section. now the speaker has life. guaranteed . Cheers.

Just for Beginners TIP do not bend every wire and solder joint go slow and use care.

Just for Beginners TIP do not bend every wire and solder joint go slow and use care. Or better yet for a test run, make yourself quality jumper wire(for the woffer section)with two small copper aligator clips , to jump around the second inductor , and the tweeter section requires just a small clip that can be resolder'ed if you prefer .
and and if you want get really crazy THE the remaining 2ohm tweeter resistor should be MILLS . the 1.8 shunt is fine as a sandcast.
