Pairing Ribbon Tweeters Vertical + Horizontal

There is a thread going in "room modification" forum regarding ambient speaker implementation. Your center channel issues might be addressed by a similar workaround. A pair or quad configuration behind the screen with inexpensive drivers might be pretty good.

Might consider flying the other enclosures, too. That could solve height issues easily. Why not take a few hours and draw a sketch to post here. Lots of smart people would

love to help you work it out.

Nah that is limited as I will be purchasing TV(replacing my current TV mounted to wall) and mounting it to wall. I plan to place the Speaker below it.

This is how I will be setting up speakers.

It ALL depends on the ROOM and how willing you are to treat the space accordingly. A single Fountek Neo 2.0 and it’s relatively long element will produce a wide enough vertical dispersion for all those seated as per your image.......extending vertical directivity through cross interference of two devices is fubar.........liken it to the chaotic behavior of a lawn impact sprinkler to provide coverage.

Reduced ceiling HF reflections....that’s a HUGE plus. Treat the side walls with diffusion above your seating.....the seating will provide needed absorption. Treat the wall behind the main seating with a combination of absorption and diffusion.....lots of great choices here that architecturally are quite pleasing.

Forget those Hivi drivers......you’re gonna create deep vertical nulls and the don’t have the energy on tap to keep up with the Fountek. Pair it with a 6” pro midrange like the B&C 6md38....cross at 3.5khz 2nd order electric........ribbons don’t suffer from center to center spacing from ribbon to woofer as the edge of the ribbon serves the distance requirement.....but widespread mids crossed high in an MTM will cause severe lobes.

Yes I think I will have less to no problem with side and surround speakers, but my only issue is with center speaker which plays very important role at high ends. Center speaker being placed 9-13° off axis vertically I am really concerned of how much drop off will it cause.
