Assuming that the PS in each monoblock could handle the extra PCB

They can. The same power supply modules were used in the stereo version, as I alluded to with my observation about the taped-off wires in one of your pictures.

I guess the problem you'll have is getting two more Hart amplifier PCBs - maybe have to reverse engineer and get new ones fabricated.

Was just on Ebay as you replied....occurred to me there may be something out there!!

I'm not holding my breathe for you but if you do find some you'll then have another treasure hunt for some of the parts... Sorry, being a bit of a damp squib. Personally, I would just go with what you have and bring them back to life again with some new caps and a good dollop of TLC. - I'm confident you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I'm pretty sure, having dredged through the dark recesses of my memory, that Hart offered several versions of the amp, the bells and whistles version, a stereo power amp and monoblock power amps. The kits were even available via a Hart website for a while.

I posted the link to the different models in #7 (go back a bit!!)

That's why I wondered if the models I have are K1100M...
(look to LHS of page in link....half way down!!)

I missed that link. That ad is just how I remember it! When I think about how much I earned in those days buying that kit was a big decision!

BTW, yes, you essentially have a pair of K1100M amps.

Around the same time I had the Quantum 102...

Hello again!!
The link in #28 isn't working for me!
Plan at the moment is to 'restore' them as best as I can (I'm good at the cleaning/cosmetic bit!)...get 'em working as well as possible.

In terms of updating parts....would it be a daft idea to replace ALL electrolytics....given that they're 20 'odd'...possibly 30 years old?
Might there be any other candidates for replacement?
