As for filling in the holes, I'm too old and life dealt too many physical blows for me to keep up with those other than my offspring...(son helps run equivalent of internal affairs cybersecurity in San Jose for Apple, daughter engineers interface software for victim notification with national law enforcement depts for Apriss), so I'm doing bucket list stuff rather than trying to improve the world around me... other than occasional audio enlightenment for friends with (formerly) tin ears... ;-)

I am very skeptical about Bybees. I have not tried them and they are also very expensive. But I have an open mind as to whether they work, because I have not yet tried them. That I believe is a reasonable line to take. In fact, the only line to take as far as I am concerned.

What Jack has been working on in recent years, including the parts that he recently sent me has nothing to do with his classified past work. Only his purifiers, (so far as I know) were a problem with former government work. His new stuff, he has paid to get researched himself and works on C13 resonance. It works on a similar principle as the Stein products made (I think) in Germany, and they first introduced the concept.

I doubt if anything that old is classified. When I was hanging around nuc weapons design, under grounds nuc tests etal and had a special and well above Top Secret clearance ("Q")...... when I was debriefed, I was told I could not leave the country for 8 years unless I had permission of government. The 8 years was the CIA estimate of how far ahead of others (Russians) we were at that time (which was also classified info). After 8 years they would have figured out same things we did.
35 years?! I dont think so.
It is really a shame not everything known can be published or even discussed. Only way to learn some of it is to mentor with a senior level scientist for years. Poor fella who is top 10% of PHD grads gets to be a "Junior" scientist to a senior scientist. Such is the nature of classified research.

I was unhappy that everybody quit the dvc Jn tap thingy, but certainly understand that everybody has a life.
I am hoping my surgery works, and that I can add a tap winding to the vc without it rubbing. Quite honestly, that hands on stuff is what I like the most. I am perfectly happy letting others do that injuneering thingy. Unfortunately, the winding of a 36 to 49 AWG tap wire(available wire size range) will require I lay off the coffee for a day....sucks.
Course, I was kinda hoping some young guys would get interested.
I may yet get some Ph.D. Candidate type interested at the local univ...who knows😕
Oh, forgot to buy some speaker tinsel...can't get the taps out without that.

Thus I am Godfather to amazing young woman. From remote village near the Himalayan mountains of Nepal. Literally Dirt poor. Parents with no education. No money. Girl with no chance with the culture and poverty she was born into. With 160 IQ would have spent her life planting rice etc. Die-ing inside of terminal boredom. Since her father didnt want her (only wanted a boy) I took her and supported her while she lived in Nepal since 5 years old. Now going to university in Sydney. Going to get herself an MS EE degree and also one in management. Loves music and audio, too. We are not doomed. I will leave her to carry on. <3
