Nice. I need some bass boxes for my system, not larger than Peavey FH-1 but going lower. And I need this "horn kick" to be present. A folded tapped horn should deliver that, now I need to find out the model that would fit the best.
I simmed a tham 12 with the lavoce waf124.01 and didnt look that bad.
It did around 50-51hz @ 105db but forgot to take a screenshot.
Driver cost about 130€

I have good luck with the roar layout and even catering to TS parameters and changing it slightly. (Longer and skinner) or (shorter and wider) is a function of Vas (and tge Qts fir Fs) or that approach seems to work for my drivers.. a bms 12 pair recently(friends build) . And splitting the initial path into a stepped can get some car audio drivers with Bl^2/re to work very good it seems. You can get really creative if a stub is positioned and tuned with conjunction of the system. (Rabbit hole to be honest).

working on a DSP version with 8 active channels (ADAU1452 + 4xTPA3116) for beam steering and shading, not yet ready ...
That is very nice!!
How do you like that driver? I get some good action off it in sins lately and its an affordable alternative to ‘slightly! better but 3 x as expensive ?? 🙂?
Actualy I like it alot, like more product from lavoce.
I made the tham 12 35cm wide inside instead of 32cm.
Could not get to the bolts with my big hands.
Playing with 1600w on that driver from 40-150hz 48/24db.
For about 108€ ex vat hardly find better I think

Same with the 15 it seems? I find a sweet spot very easily in this group from LaVoce. I wish i had a ‘need’ to fill this exactly..
Dont got experience with any bigger than 12 inch.
I do use the 6.5 inch coax at home and happy about it.
