Remember this....
No matter how beautiful she is -
No matter how smart she is -
No matter how poise she is -
No matter how rich she is -
some guy still refers to her as "that bitch".
LMAO this is the TRUTH!!

In my wife's case -- probably a student she failed when she taught anatomy in nursing school -- and she would routinely fail over half the class --- but you don't want nurses in service who don't know where the bones are.
For some strange reason most everyone has switched to LED lights whenever possible. Not only cooler but the typical power requirement of 200 amps three phase power, requiring massive power cables, has dropped to 20 amps or so. Not only does the wiring get smaller, but you don't have climb up to the lighting grid to change light bulbs.
Before LEDs they did make special lamps that produced less heat. No one used them as they cost more.

Were they? I thought the Orthochromic files were a 1950-60s thing. Or am I confusing that with Orthophonic records?Note that early movie films were orthochromatic...
Basic silver film loves blue-green (into UV if lens allows), blind to red. Which means you can work it under a red safe-light. People, especially tarts, looked ghastly unless made-up with "wrong" colors.
Pan film adds dyes to extend sensitivity to red. Available before 1910 but cost more, also needed new and dimmer safe-lights, so movies tended to Ortho well into the 1920s. Max Factor got famous for supplying strong natural makeup for Pan filming.
Some of Ansel Adams' iconic images are based on Ortho, or when that ran out, Pan with a blue filter to shift contrasts the way he liked.

"The matched transmission-line phonograph was announced publicly under the name "Orthophonic" on October 6, 1925, at a dinner given at the Waldorf by the Victor Talking Machine Company"

Pamela Anderson
A local favourite.
Guys, make sure we continue to keep this civil. It's a controversial topic and needs to be dealt with as such.
Oh yea, spoken like a true Shallow Hal and I basically agree. But still, you got to have someone you can enjoy looking at too.I will continue to promote that the 'beauty' of a woman is to the core, whereby the 'prettiness' is the skin deep part of the equation.
You can argue that beauty is inside, but a minimumof superficial coherence is in order IMO . Take carmen electra for instance: despite a few small dispersed specks of nice natural tone skin, a few nail clippers would'nt hurt.
