Klipschorn speakers. I listen either 12 to 14 feet from the speakers or from the loft at the back of the room.

7.3'H x 7.3'W x 17'L. The two same measurements are.......unfortunate. I've divided the length in half with a regiment of wall to wall blankets of various weaves and textures. The blanket wall also cuts off most of my PC's fan noise. I can't complain with a noise level of -82.5 dB.
Two systems in my current house:
A) 5.5M wide 10M deep 2.7M high opening up to >80M^2
Listening position closer than mid room.
Soffit mounted Unity horns. Gyprock over stud walls. Floating timber floor with natural fiber felt underlay and wool carpet on top.
B) 5M wide 11M deep 2.4M high
Listening position closer than mid room.
Soffit mounted floor to ceiling planar line array and bass line array. Gyprock over stud walls. Carpet and underlay over suspended concrete floor. Lots of windows.
Wow Phil, that's quite a place you picked up for yourself. Your last playroom was too small?

You could certainly have a few guys over for a stereothon listening session in that space, I'd think. You've got all the chairs that you need already.Just bought this place. Once the pews go it will be a living room/ play room.
18 metres long, 7 meters wide and 11 meters to the peak.
Eek.
