hi everyone my b 500 emitter to base voltage is 270 mv at no load on both side but after connecting load it will change to 440 mv on npn side and 170 mv on pnp side but sound good and dc offset is 15mv is this normal ?
Hi Fuego; maybe you have to increase Power supply filtering but I think not much. Tou have to try.
Sir apex can you give me a free software used in simulation of power amplifier circuit. Tnx. The one that i can download and install. Please. Tnx...
My work
Thanks for the wonderful projects

Hi every body! Can you share for me "H-class step driver with TL072" ?
I have found in this topic but the image is blur. I can see!!
Thanks!!!

hi lengo check the above links
Thank you my friend!
But I only want to look for "schematic diagram of step driver using TL072". It is a power switch circuit.
It is this circuit, but it is too blur. I can see all value!

try the discreet version or the one with ir2117 it has less heat on the fets.
ok Guys!
i starting to build this amp and im little bit confused
can somebody explain to me what is this connectors
A&B, And this pin +vh beneath nsl32 ,and Pro Pin.
Where i must connect this pins to amplifier work
i will be very thankful If somebody can explain to me.
for the Rest of components everything is clear to me.

Hello everyone...
I've started building Apex B500 Single chanel (MONO Version). I have power transistors in which 4 are MJL21193 & 4 are MJL21194 power transistor and transformer of secondary having 50V-0-50V AC, 10A. So my question is that, how much output power it delivers to me at 4 Ohm & 2 Ohm respectively?

I have built the amplifier and it is working, but the 2sc5200 NPN outputs does not get hot while the 2SA1943 get very hot. It does not seems to be normal. Any ideas?

It will deliver around 300-400W RMS for sure over 4ohm. But for 2 ohms load with 4 pairs transistors, I do not think is a good idea with this transformer without adjusting the current or adding more transistors.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

A and B pins are for bridge mode and pro pin is for the protection (if you have one) as far as I remember. There was a post from Apex with schematic somewhere here how to connect them properly. I have not tested this option to share my own experience.
You do not need to connect any of those for the amplifier to work, they are only optional.
