Hi Mario
we plan to demo Nelsons XO in the Linkwitz Lair.
Probably at the end of the aisle, left corner room (same as last year)
Thanks for organizing !

Good deal Frank and I look forward to meeting you. Also, Mark (aka Variac) will be on hand in the morning as Systems Coordinator to help see those displaying creations to the most appropriate of the four demo rooms.
Boy, this just keeps getting better! As Tom said, it'll be great to match faces with names - especially so for me, since there are so many of you who've earned my respect over the years. It's a good reminder that there are real people behind all of those user names and avatars.
I regrettably won't be able to make dinner Saturday night because I owe my wife a pizza at the best New York-style joint I've found outside of Brooklyn (really). But I figure that's a small price to pay to attend on Sunday. Besides, she has a high WAF threshold for my various projects! 😀
Now back to building those TSA-friendly form-fitting foam cases...

Tony's in North Beach. Man, that's some good pie. One of our best memories is stagg- um, walking back to our hotel after dinner there last year. 🙂
I agree, but Village Puzza is as good with much less drama. One on Van Ness Ness around Nush, another st Arguello and Clement.
So, dug out some stuff from my stash for the raffle. So far-
LM4780TA in three packs of four, and one pack of five.
LM3886T, two packs of six
Two Chatham 6336A dual triode, would be killer SE tubes!
Anybody planning to bring PCBs for the raffle? Maybe I could give the chips to bundle up with boards?
Still need to get into another bin for some more stuff, but it's a start I suppose.

Question for folks that have brought gear to display in the past. Are there extension cords available or will the tables be near a wall plug, or do I need to bring some? I get the need to bring a power strip. I am struggling with trying to travel in only one case and stay under the weight limit!!
Thanks
David

Wi-Fi
We were going to bring a BlueSound Node 2 or Oppo Sonica as a music source to display some diy components, but just figured out either would need wi-fi to operate. (Duh). So, will WiFi be available at the site? Thx.

drpro,
While there may be a few extra extension cords, don't count on it and bring your own please.

Wanders,
Responding to your post #137, great question. I've just emailed our Event Coordinator at Ft Mason asking specifically about wireless capabilities in our Bldg C demo rooms and I'll post an answer as soon as he gets back to me.

I'm going to bring my usual Arduino RF remote controlled PGA preamp with me. I'd like to travel lighter this year, if possible, so I'd like to split my table with someone or someones who want to add an amp and spkrs to the mix. I'll have an audio source and DAC with me.

I just packed up four Modulus-86 Rev. 2.3 boards (two sets of two boards) for the raffle. The LM3886es would go nicely with those.
Tom
I’ve got several PCB’s I can bring, and some populated DIYAUDIO PS boards if that is okay.
Best,
Anand.
