I know what you mean. And if I build new enclosures, I have plans for the crossover as well. A classy way of displaying them that is.

Great thread. Thank you for documenting the restore & upgrade of these speakers and keeping them pics coming. IMO it's very much of value to readers, even if they don't necessarily all comment, some peeps just be lurkin'.
I'm building a pair of Genesis Model 2s from scratch and already received a matched pair of vintage tweeters. I didn't want the new repros.
In my area I can only get 1/2" bb, not 3/4", so I may build the cabs out of 3/4" mdf and double up on the front baffle.
