How does Apple come into this?
Apple has nothing to do with MQA AFAIK it's the philosophy of parting (fleecing) folks from their money that they have pioneered. If you don't share my view of Apple as Satan fair enough we will all move on in any case.
Remembering from years ago when CH was active on this forum exchanging with him some words on ferrite beads.
A brilliant, vocal but some times controversial.
Looking at the picture in the link below his physics seemed quite frail.

Is that a band? Because it used to be a logo. Do you have an old Coliseum Lead amp laying about? A Leslie West fan, perhaps? Either way, thanks for the evening playlist idea.Yeah, I think I'll listen to some sunn o))).
EDIT: Never mind, I figured it out. These guys might indeed have some Coliseum gear onstage (sure sounds like it), but it's too dark & smoky to say for sure.

Are people so bothered by some random fringe alternative band? I like it at 11.
Not bothered by it at all, just my typically feeble attempt at humor.
Musically, I can't stay interested in this stuff for too long, but I do find sounds like this interesting. Beyond the emotional effects, extreme distortion is like a car crash; it sounds/looks random but it really isn't. The laws of physics are still in charge of everything we see and hear.

Supreme Sound Opamp V5i – Burson Audio Currently being w***** over on a couple of other threads. I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt until I read this bit of their drivel
.It is said that we as humans can only hear up to 20 KHz; however, the new V5i has bandwidth of 50 MHz. In other words, you will not be able to hear all the micro details, but you will surely feel them. With the creation of the V5i, music will simply be more engaging and live like.

Always been that way, I see they're hiding the insides these days.
I have nothing against hybrids. Heck my phono stage uses thick film hybrid op-amps. But they don't even have laser trimmed resistors.
I might be old, but to me ceramic pack with lid soldered on looks so much better. Like this which you might recall from your younger days
Edit: didn't realise this was still current production. I though the ceramics had been phased out years ago except for special orders
