I'm thinking more along the lines of super soakers filled with snake oil.

I imagine this is how Billionaire pool parties are run.
The claims are about the same, 50% more pressure. 30% more water than the original super soaker.

Sure but not really relevant. The car feels smoother and more powerful, and Max's "invention" is all about the feels. If the car feels faster or the amp sounds better or the wine tastes better, who cares about measurements or objective reality?
me!😛
Max recons the phase of the moon makes an audible difference.
Actually of the things written, that has the most chance! (He is coastal, so I'm unsure how much the tide affects the air conditions)
Don't forget fog/humidity and the chance that your speakers will absorb moisture and change their audio characteristics.
But if you make the base "Faster" then won't the pitch change?
Haven't seen an impulse/step response graph of bass frequencies.
Wouldn't the onset of the first wave be pegged as fast as the highest measurable frequency?
With some intermediate steps I just had to think of audio enhancement pills.
This should clear things up...ishYouTube

Feasible... for werewolves.
The gravitational pull of the moon is responsible for tides. When it can move water, which is made up of water quantum thingamabings then it surely can move electron thingamabings and maybe also pull out speaker cones a bit which are made of cone thingamabings and whatnot.
I haven’t heard any mention of the Lodge spark plugs for years, used them in my Fiats after experiencing them in Alfas first. I found a newer version of the Nippondenso iridium plugs that work pretty good.
If you haven’t been to witness top fuel dragsters first hand, you really owe it to yourself.
Is quite the event, just to try and grasp the physics that are taking place.
Speaking of snake oil, how about the “Tornado” device that was purported to give better fuel economy? It usually worked, but only because it limited the amount of airflow entering the engine...
Humidity always makes my speakers sound better somehow, figured it was more mass or a similar effect.

there is a car thread now. just fyi.
There is no need anymore to torment these poor lost souls with more offtopic stuff.

Haven't used sparkplugs in 2 decades but I wonder if I could run my diesel car on snake oil.
With some intermediate steps I just had to think of audio enhancement pills.
"Please consult a physician if your ultra-wide soundstage persists for more than 4 hours."
...Next up my 20W ebay T-amp (looking for that faster bass).
I remember a gig, many, many moons ago, where everyone in the band was on Quaaludes except the bass player. "Faster bass" may be overrated (although admittedly, "slower band" would more accurately describe that remarkably unpleasant evening).
Jack Bybee makes QM accessories for auto engines, but he doesn't make spark plugs so far as I know. However, Dick Sequerra made spark plugs, and they are in my Porsche right now.
My favorite 'snake oil' for autos is 'Marvel Mystery Oil' I always keep some around, for difficult problems, like sticky sensors, etc. It has really worked for me on occasion, but then I try to keep an 'open mind' about 'better living through chemistry and physics'. '-)

I know about that stuff; 5W oil, with a wintergreen scent added...
I actually used some recently to re-establish some lubrication after an aggressive cleansing of the ring packs, using some caustic dip cleaner, while in the car.
The epa thinks that because the emissions have steadily improved over the past 30 years that they will continue, and have created the requirements to reflect this. Once again, diminishing returns and physics prevail...
The design change that placed the rings higher up on the pistons will indeed improve emissions, however, it also makes it more likely to coke up the rings with deposits from the combustion process. There are a lot of cars out there that will have crappy engines by 70-100K miles.
So what are these spark plugs you have there in your 944, I am curious now?

Yes they were in my dad's 1750 Berlina. Horrible things, but then the whole Alfa ignition system was horrible in our Canadian climate.
