I got to hear these speakers a couple of weeks ago and I was very impressed with their performance.
They had very few hours on them when we hooked them up and after an hour or two of some loud bass heavy track they really began to open up.
The fit and finish on the cabinets is first class.
For the cost they are absolutely fantastic, well done Bas.
It was also Awesome to meet you and share some great music together🙂

It was truly awesome to meet you and your lovely family. Listening to your system was the bomb.. And it was great to have your setup show what these little puppies can do! But unusually for me the music and hifi came 2nd compared to the hospitality and warmth I felt.I got to hear these speakers a couple of weeks ago and I was very impressed with their performance.

So...since I had already bought the FaitalPro PR200 AND had the cnc'ed frontpanel...and v1 of the crossover all done. I decided to replicate this...but without the nice wood. Nevertheless...the furniture grade wood I ordered and cut as a service was not cheap. But I got lucky. They did not have 15mm at that moment..and offered an upgrade to 18mm (at no extra cost). Very happy with the quality of Welkom bij © online zagerij - OPMAATZAGEN.nl.
However in my greed I said yes...but forgot that I had calculated the top part with 15mm in mind. Not to worry...I just got some oak and stuck it on..you'll see pictures soon enough I guess.
Port length will be different for the different mids (from the design). Calculated by LineSource. Thanks again.
Faital 8PR200
EBS3 = extended bass shelf -3db
19822cm^3 volume (0.7 cuft volume) tuned to 50Hz with
two ports with internal diameter = 48mm (1.9"), length 183mm (7.2")
Still waiting for the rest of the stuff to be delivered.

The round radius edges on the front baffle are important in reducing diffraction. So, flat sides are fine. So, round baffle edges are worth the effort.
I'm not sure about doing this. Before my mate's speakers were built I did not like the pro-sound look. But now I think it actually looks nice. Should I round the baffle edges?

Hey Bas, cant wait to see the outcome of this. I bet it will sound really good.
The 18sound version was good and I know the Faitals might be even better.
The woodwork on the last ones was superb!
