Well, after getting all our cable lifters in place, strewing Bybees indiscriminately across the system and making sure the ground-side electrons had a way out, changes were not subtle! In fact, it was so real, almost as if the guy was playing right there in front of us! Thanks again to untiring efforts of Axis of Evil founder SY! :wave2:

First picture:. Could you tell the live from the recording? Was it live or Memorex? And what is that guy holding, is it some new kind of audio tweak?

PS: Glad to see SY still going strong, I miss his drooling here.

I think it a great thing "Scott" is intent on wrecking the likes of these scam artists...but you kill one cockroach & ten more takes it place...We need some sort of poison that destroys an entire colony...Perhaps a type of clearinghouse, an organization exclusively devoted to destroying crap within our community. All these clowns do is cloud real issues, waste resources, time, monies...& contribute to the dumbing down of what once was...& can be again a very technical, intelligent endeavour.

Does this put me in some kind of hall of fame? 😉 (Again, it was a pleasure meeting you and your family)

Certainly one of a very limited number. Interestingly got back in touch with someone via here who I know from my kit car days. I need to go visit him as he has got some Eminent LFT-8bs and I've always had an illogical soft spot for planars.

But I don't get out much and it was great to get an excuse! It is a shame Babbage's brain is no longer on display.

I'm trying to keep strong language out of this and stick to reporting observations. The only reason I decided to do this is the claim of visual effects. Save for medical conditions untrained observers have a keen ability to differentiate hue, etc. when simultaneous stimuli are present. This can't be done with listening tests but it can with visual tests.

BTW I've been advised that I'm wasting my time, doubly so since I figure JC's entire posse has me on ignore by now.

Ok, this motivated me to cut all strings on my guitar and mount Bybees to patch them together again. The change in sound was MASSIVE! My wife heard it from the kitchen that it was miles from what it sounded like before. And not only was sound of the instrument on a completely different level, also playing it did FEEL distinctly different.

dude, i like your avatar
unfortunately i killed a few vft´s 😱, but nepenthes, pinguiculas, drosera capensis, are rolling strong.🙂

i guess in ´stralia, the cephalotus are plenty everywhere

Too bad I'm as dumb as the same kind of plant.

No point in telling me what their names are my brain only has enough bits of information to store the last thing I was working on and I'm working on an all in one TDA1541 DAC PCB.

Although I am pretty smart when it comes to observing human behavior, though there is really not many applications for that in real life.

I should probably just give up and live with the wolves but I know that they'll outsmart me too eventually.

But I troddle on copying proven designs into my dac (not going to sell it, just want to build it) and pretending that I'm doing something productive.

Sorry to disappoint you, I'm using the avatar currently to inspire people to grow plants and get away from the keyboard. It might change in the future.

Unfortunately nature doesn't make us all as smart as engineers.
