My pleasure, so glad you enjoyed it!
Feet are done and off to the anodizers, they will get Type II hard ano, I was considering a nickel plating but I think it would be too bright, the black will match the drivers.
The front feet have threaded pads so the cabinet can be tilted back

Should be finalizing them his weekend!

Beautiful work on the feet, looks like the speaker is ready to take off now you added the rocket boosters 🙂
Perhaps making them black will not be as pretty... They look really good... Naked alu with wood...

The visual impact of the plastic horn is no good, it's the very first thing I've noticed.
These are cast aluminum horns, and very nicely cast at that, and they appear to have a nice durable enamel paint finish.

I do like the look with raw alum but not in love with it, I think black fits more the sensibility I have, stay tuned!
Javad is right wanting aluminum feet anodized in black. That is the only colour to match the rest of the speakers. What do you reckon, how much would these marvels score in an auction?

+1 Javad, black is a good choice.
Got the feet back from Ano yesterday, will get them mounted soon
And with the 2.5" diameter hemispherical sorbothane foot

Ok the moment I've been waiting for, all the pieces are in place!
I had some concern about the aluminum rubbing on the cabinet so I had some of this adhesive backed wool sheet
I applied it to the face inside the foot that goes against the curved portion of the cabinet, it's about 1/16" thick compressed.
Back foot
Front foot
I used this to accurately center punch the holes
I drilled a pilot hole about 3/4 the length of the screw engagement, I used flat bevel head drywall screws
Notch to allow removable bottom clearance
Front feet installed
Adjustable height pad installed
Sorbothane hemispherical pad
Ready for Sorbothane pads
And back on the ground, this sight was VERY satisfying!
Final step I'll install the sorbothane feet, do a photo shoot and I need to build the crates to ship these out, I need to get them to FedEx by next Thursday or Friday for MWAF, almost here!
Thanks!

Javad,
Again great attention to detail - execution on the speaker feet is spot on. 🙂
Now for the final photo shoot before they get shipped out. We want a full report out of the MWAF happenings too!
