in fact, its the only way I can watch YT videos - my browser is too old and I don't trust it, anyway. but the command line download util works great and lets me get the whole video and watch it without the buffering issues or network slowness.

Actually I'm in Hong Kong ATM. We're visiting our son in Shanghai for Christmas and decided to pop over here for a few days. Mainland China blocks Gmail and diyAudio wasn't coming in that well either. HK doesn't block so I'm catching up on emails and posts.

Costa Rica should be just out of the rainy season where it rains every day at about 2pm. So things will be dryer and it will be easier to get around in less developed areas when we get back.

BAF 2016 DH220C Presentation

Some folks expressed interest in seeing the slides from my Burning Amp 2016 presentation of the Hafler DH220C revamp using a full-complementary JFET input stage with a floating tail. It is a powerpoint file, and, unfortunately, it is over 7 MB, even zipped (zip compression of ppt files is negligible). I don't know of any easy way to post it here. Please email me if you would like a copy.
